This is a painting that I was commissioned for. My client chose such a stunning lotus. The blue background she chose really makes the water lily pop!
A pink lotus is know as the supreme lotus, generally reserved for the highest deity. Thus, it is associated with the Great Buddha himself. The blue background she chose really makes the water lily pop!
